  • For other countries: consult with us.

Attention: this is just an estimate of the time it takes, taking into account all the shipments we have already made, so it is not a confirmation of the deadline in which you will receive your order. If you want to ship to a hotel, make sure they receive your order and ask if we need any extra information, such as your reservation number, for us to put in the shipping details.

It is also the customer's responsibility to track their delivery, based on the tracking code that we send after posting to the post office. In the case of Brazil, monitoring must be done in 2 stages: 1. From leaving Portugal to arriving in Brazil: through the CTT, Correios de Portugal website; 2. From arrival in Brazil to internal distribution: through the Correios do Brasil website. Note: the tracking code is the same, what changes is just the website you have to enter to track it, as it depends on which company is in possession of your merchandise.

2. Uber Package: express shipping (Lisbon only)

If you want to receive your order at the time of purchase, you want to schedule a specific time for delivery or your hotel did not accept to receive your order, the best option is for you to contact us by the number (+351) 911 861 741 and request a shipping by Uber Package. We ship your products with a driver at the agreed time and it costs 15 euro. You can select this option on the checkout but please contact us before doing it, we need to check if it is possible to ship it on the same day. Attention: in order to receive this shipment, you must be in front of the place indicated to receive the order, as the Uber driver does not get out of the car, he only delivers the product through the window.

3. Pick up in person, in our physical store

If you want to pay in cash, or want to collect a purchase that has already been paid for, you can come to our store in Lisbon in person! If you made your purchase online and wish to collect the products in store, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can take your order to the store, as we do not have a large stock of the products on the website in store. To schedule, contact us via WhatsApp (+351) 911 861 741 or email beachtennislx@gmail.com. In item 1 of this FAQ you will find information about the store's address and opening hours.

03. PAYMENT: What are the accepted forms of payment?

1. Directly through the website

You can pay with credit or debit card, Mbway and Multibanco Reference, directly through the website. Card payments cannot be paid in installments (even if you pay by credit card, it will be in 1 payment).

2. Partially through the website

You can make the payment by national transfer (Portuguese bank) or international. In this case, you need to make the purchase through the website, choosing this option, so that your order is confirmed and you receive the order number. However, the site does not direct you directly to make the transfer, that is, you must do it yourself (using applications such as Remessa Online or Wise, for example) to our account, whose details are informed in the confirmation email of the your request. After making the transfer, you just need to send us by whatsapp on the (+351) 911 861 741 or email, to beachtennislx@gmail.com , the proof of your transfer and the number of your order placed on the website.

3. Cash

If you want to pay in cash, just come and make your purchase in person at our physical shop!

    04. INVOICE (INVOICE) AND TAX FREE: Do you issue invoices? Can I order Tax-free?

    Yes, we issue an invoice/receipt.

We need your data: Full name, address, NIF (or passport number, in case of a foreign client) and email. When you make a purchase through our website, filling in this information is mandatory, so that we can issue your invoice. Once issued, it is sent to your email.

Yes, we issue TAX FREE through the Travel TAX FREE company.

TAX FREE is a benefit that refunds part of the tax paid by the customer at the time of purchase when they are not a resident of the European Union and are returning to their country, taking their purchases with them on the flight. TAX FREE is associated with the invoice, and to request it, you only need to provide, at the time of purchase, the customer's general information (Full Name, Address, Passport Number, and Country of Issue), as well as their date of birth. We will issue the necessary documents, including the invoice and the TAX FREE receipt, and send them by email or within the shipment, along with instructions on how to request the refund, which must be done at the airport. The amount to be refunded to the customer varies from 10% to 15% of the purchase value, depending on the classification of the products in the Portuguese tax system, and is fully processed by the Travel TAX FREE company. Therefore, BTLX has no relationship with the amount to be refunded to the customer. The amount is refunded directly at the airport and can be in cash or in the Traveller Wallet App, with the customer choosing the most convenient option at the time.

Some rules for requesting TAX FREE: The customer cannot be a resident of any European Union country; the purchase must be over €65; the customer must validate their receipt and ask for refund within 3 months of purchase; the customer needs to take their products with them, as they may be required to show them to receive the refund.

    05. CUSTOMS (SHIPPING): I bought my products and had them delivered to my address, will they be taxed at customs?

If you bought with delivery to countries in the Schengen zone, in the European Union, no. If you bought with delivery to another country, your goods will pass through the customs of the country of destination and will be taxed.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay all applicable fees when the order is taxed. The postal order is also paid by the customer. This amount in Brazil is currently set at R$:15.85.

    06. CUSTOMS (AIRPORT): I bought my products and take them with me in my suitcase on a plane trip. Will they be taxed?

If you are going to travel to a country within the Schengen zone, in the European Union, no. If you are going to travel to another country, you need to find out directly on the official websites of that country, to check what is the amount of purchases abroad allowed by law without the need of paying any extra fee (in Brazil, for example, the quota is US$1,000.00, a value similar to 900€, depending on the quotation of the day, and the items purchased must be for personal use, not for sale).

    07. EXCHANGE: Can I exchange or return any product?

If there is any proven factory defect, we can make the exchange within 30 days of receiving the order. Some brands have extended guarantee time, contact us to know more about it. We ask that you contact us, if any problem occurs, forwarding photos and videos of the product, to send to the supplier, so that an analysis can be carried out and a manufacturing defect can be proven. Contact us by phone, in the number (+351) 911 861 741 or email us to beachtennislx@gmail.com. There is no possibility of exchange resulting from the use of the equipment (collision during the game, exposure to rain and sun, etc.). In some cases, our supplier may suggest another solution, such as partial refund or discount on a second product. For more details, see our exchange policy at the bottom of the page.

As for clothes, caps, sneakers and other accessories: we do not carry out exchanges. We recommend that you only buy if you are sure of the size indicated, or if you have the possibility to try it on in person, as sizes may be different from what you expect.

By the portuguese law, if the product is untouched, and is still in the exact same situation as delivered, it is possible to return within 14 days of the date you received it. If needed, please contact us.

    08. RESERVATION: Can I reserve a product?

We do not work with product reservation. Therefore, if you want a product but will only be able to come to Lisbon some time later, there are 2 options:

    1. You can purchase the product through the website and request that it is kept until the date of your arrival (after the product is purchased and paid for, we can keep it for as long as you need it, there is no problem).
    2. You can wait and contact us again, as soon as you arrive in Lisbon, to check if the product you want is still available.

           Product questions:

    10. RACKETS (MATERIAL): What is the difference between beginner, intermediate, professional and children's rackets?

    1. Beginners: beginner rackets are usually made of fiberglass, a softer material that allows good ball control but not as good an attack.
    2. Intermediate: Intermediate rackets are usually manufactured with the frame (edges of the racket) in carbon and the core (heart of the racket) in fiberglass. This composition allows for superior control and attack than beginner racquets.
    3. Professionals: professional rackets are usually made 100% in carbon or kevlar, these being the materials that best respond to an advanced/professional game, offering good control and attack. Carbon is classified according to the amount of fibers it presents, using the nomenclature “K” for every 1,000 carbon strands. That is, a 3k racket has 3,000 threads and a 15k racket has 15,000 threads. A racket with fewer strings will have good control and a good attack. A racket with more threads will have a “drier” hit, losing slightly in control to gain in attack.
    4. Children: children's rackets are ideal for children, as they are smaller, made of fiberglass and weigh around 30% less than adult rackets.

Note: Each person has a unique game and feels the materials differently. This information described here is only theoretical, to assist in your choice. Our suggestion is that you buy rackets that you already know and possibly have already tried. Rackets are not properly classified as “beginners”, “intermediate” and “advanced” by suppliers. We are the ones who make this distinction, to facilitate the organization of our products, taking into account the characteristics that the vast majority of players look for in rackets, according to the time they have played and the goals they have in beach tennis. To know the material of each racket, you must look for it in our store and read its specifications.

    11. RACKETS (HOLES): What is the ideal hole?

Rackets can have numerous drilling options, the most common being: side drilling (1 or 2 lines) and concentrated drilling in the head (upper part of the racket). The more holes the racket has, the less friction with the air, that is, the racket will be lighter and faster, but it will not have such a rigid surface, which can reduce the power of its attack. Rackets with more holes can be interesting if you usually play in places with a lot of wind, like on the beach, for example, so you will have greater control of your racket, feeling less wind intervention. There is no ideal drilling, it all depends on your style of play and how you feel most comfortable. If you want, you can make new holes in the racket (always with a specialized company).

    12. RACKETS (WEIGHTS): What is the weight of my racket?

When you search for rackets on our website, you will see that each one has its specifications, one of which is the approximate weight. This weight is informed by the suppliers and is estimated (the racket may have a weight within the informed range or slightly lighter or heavier). When we receive the rackets from the suppliers, we weigh them one by one, so if you want to choose the exact weight of your racket, contact us and ask what weights we have available, in the model you want. A lighter racquet offers the benefit of less arm fatigue, especially for long-term players. A heavier racquet offers the benefit of allowing for a more forceful attack, requiring less force to be imposed than is needed on a lighter racquet. This choice is personal, you must choose based on your play style.

    13. RACKETS (TREATMENT): What is the treatment? Does my racket come treated?

The treatment is a texture carried out in the portion from the core to the head of the racket, made with glass micro spheres and other materials, covered with a varnish, with the objective of creating a rough surface more conducive to the realization of slice-style effects, where the ball “scrapes” the racket to gain a spin on the stroke. Some racquets are already treated directly from the factory, in these cases this information is found in the individual description of each racquet. Therefore, if nothing is written, it means that the racket has no treatment. Whenever there is any doubt, you can contact us to clarify.

Glipper: We have a partnership with the Italian company Glipper, which performs treatments on rackets. We have available some rackets already treated by them (this information is present in the title and description of the racket). If you are interested in having a racket treated at Glipper, leaving and returning to Lisbon (it can be either a new racket that you buy with us, or your used one) request a quote. The term for this service is approx. 1 month and the price includes: treatment + shipping costs (the more rackets sent together, the lower the shipping cost per unit).

    14. OTHER PRODUCTS: Do you have other products that are not on this site?

No, all the products we have are on this site, and the products that are available we have in stock, ready for delivery. If you are interested in a sold out product or another product (either from the brands we already work with or from any other brand) please contact us on whatsapp (+351) 911 861 741, we can try to get it for you!
